1. Sage – For cleansing spaces and personal energy

The most common use of sage is for space clearing. Light the sage and let the flame burn for a few seconds, then gently extinguish it so that it continues to smolder slowly. Walk clockwise around the room, allowing the smoke to flow into areas where energy tends to stagnate, such as doorways, windows, and corners—pausing a little longer in these spots. For personal cleansing, you may also guide the smoke gently around your body, moving from head to toe, as if brushing away fatigue, confusion, and energies that do not belong to you. After use, place the sage in a heat-safe container and ensure it is fully extinguished.

Best used when:

• You have been feeling heavy, exhausted, or irritable
• You have moved into a new home, opened a new space, or spent time in large crowds
• You wish to clear the energy before performing rituals, meditation, or lighting a candle

2. Obsidian Beaded Chain (8mm) – For protection, maintaining boundaries, and deflecting unwanted energies

The simplest way to use obsidian is to wear it. It is often worn on the left hand to help absorb external clutter and enhance a sense of protection. If your intention is more about repelling negative influences, some choose to wear it on the right hand according to personal preference. You may also wear it when going out, meeting clients, being in crowded environments, or whenever you feel particularly susceptible to external influences—helping you maintain a stronger sense of boundary. If you prefer not to wear it, you can keep it in your bag, on your workspace, or near the entrance as a daily protective stone.

• Set a simple intention before wearing, such as: "I only receive energy that serves my highest good."
• If the stone begins to feel heavy, it can be cleansed periodically
• It does not need to be worn every day; wearing it when you feel the need for protection can make the practice more intentional

3. Middle Finger Candle – For severing stagnant energy, expressing refusal, and dispelling misfortune

This candle carries a strong symbolic presence. Rather than being gentle or healing in nature, it serves as a ritual tool for repelling, refusing, and cutting away. To use it, begin by cleansing the space, then place the candle at the center of your altar or table. Before lighting, take a moment to clarify what you wish to clear, such as toxic relationships, lingering misfortune, patterns or people that repeatedly drain you, or stagnant energy that has been weighing you down. Silently state your intention, then light the candle. This candle is especially suited for rituals focused on removing negative energy or bidding farewell to what no longer serves you.
